Day 1: Arrival and Orientation

Welcome to Shanghai! Upon your arrival at the airport, our tour guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel. After checking in, take some time to rest and recover from your journey. In the afternoon, you will have a brief orientation and introduction to Shanghai, and you will also have the opportunity to explore the local charm of Shanghai by strolling around the Bund, which is the waterfront area in the center of Shanghai. Take some great photos in front of the iconic view of the Bund!

Day 2: Visit the City Highlights

Today will be a full day of exploring some of the most famous tourist attractions in Shanghai. Our first stop will be the Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China and the second-tallest in the world. With its stunning views and unique architectural design, it's a must-see while you are in Shanghai. Next, we will visit the Yuyuan Garden, a classical Chinese garden that dates back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It boasts beautiful rock formations, pavilions, and ponds. For lunch, we will enjoy some delicious local cuisine at a traditional Shanghai restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will head to the Jade Buddha Temple, a Buddhist temple in the downtown area. It's famous for its two jade Buddha statues brought from Burma in the 19th century. Afterward, we will visit the French Concession, a charming neighborhood known for its historical architecture, tree-lined streets, and cute boutique shops, galleries and cafes.

Day 3: A Day Trip to Water Town

Today, we will leave Shanghai for a day trip to one of the famous water towns in the region, Zhujiajiao. It's a beautiful and peaceful ancient town with canals, bridges, and well-preserved traditional buildings. We will enjoy a relaxing gondola ride along the canals and take a leisurely stroll through the town. In the afternoon, we will visit to the Kezhi Garden, one of the best examples of Ming Dynasty garden design. It features classic elements such as rocks, water, plants and architecture.

Day 4: Free Time for Shopping or Leisure

Today you will have some free time to enjoy some shopping or leisure time in Shanghai. With the help of our tour guide, you can explore some of the best places for shopping and souvenirs in the city, including Nanjing Road, Xintiandi and Tianzifang. If you are a foodie, you can also explore local food markets and street vendors to try some delicious street food. Alternatively, if you prefer to relax, you could visit a local spa, park or museum.
